illustration friday says - "surveillance" it feels a little sinister
so maybe the dictionary says 'of a spy or criminal'
but I like the idea of 'close observation'
and origins of French, from sur- ‘over’ + veiller ‘watch’
(from Latin vigilare ‘keep watch’ ).
look deep
listen wide
what's going on
inside?
I remember thinking that when I was a kid and my mum would tie my hair to the side for parties! If I wanted to talk to someone I'd always sit with my 'ear-side' next to them :) Lovely work!
